The Joyful Widows Foundation members meet on every last Tuesday of every month to fellowship with one another in the presence of God. They share words of encouragement from the bible, take testimonies from members and pray for members as needed. The Foundation has ushers who ensure that order is maintained during fellowship. There is a dedicated Prayer team who meet on the Mondays prior to fellowship to pray and also meet to pray as the need arises.

Due to the large number of members, they have been grouped into four based on their areas of residence: Ire, Umuota, Ugamuma & Mmakwum/Urowulu. Each group has an appointed leader who is responsible for monitoring attendance and general welfare. The members have all agreed to a list of rules and regulations to guide their membership and that members who violate these rules will cease to be members.
